Shahab Hosseini wins award at TerrorMolins

Iranian superstar Shahab Hosseini has won an award at the Terror Molins-Molins de Rei Horror Film Festival in Spain.

The star of ‘Passion to Fly’ has been picked as the recipient of the Best Actor award at the Feature Films competition section of the Spanish event’s 39th edition.

Hosseini owes the award to his role in ‘The Night’, a movie that took home two other main awards of the fest.

Kourosh Ahari grabbed the Best Director award and also the Best Script award, which he shared with Milad Jarmooz. 

‘The Night’ narrates the story of a couple who learns secrets about one another during their one night residence at a hotel. During this endless night some insidious forces come between this husband and wife.

Niousha Jafarian, Amir-Ali Hosseini, Armin Mehr, Golbarg Khavari, Ali Kousheshi and Leila Gorganian are the rest of the flick’s cast members.

Launched in 1973, the TerrorMolins is among the oldest fests on horror movie in Spain and in Europe.

This year’s edition of the fest was held on October 31- November 22.
